What "Qualifies" Means
For most customers with comprehensive auto insurance, hail repair through our shop ends up costing only the deductible , and often less when claim assistance covers part of that. Here is what actually has to be true:
- Comprehensive coverage on your auto policy. Comprehensive (sometimes called “other than collision”) is the portion that pays for weather damage. If you only carry liability, hail isn't covered.
- Damage that meets your insurer's claim threshold. Most policies cover any documented hail damage. Severity matters for the math, not for whether you can file.
- Vehicle that hasn't already been totaled. If a previous claim totaled the vehicle, options narrow. We'll talk through it.
Bottom line: most people qualify for something. We'll be honest about your specific situation during the call.
